From July 1 2017 to July 2 2017, invited by our Principle Investigator Professor Ye, Professor Tetsuya Yomo was present at the 3rd synthetic biology young scholar forum at Institute of Plant Physiology and Ecology, SIBS, CAS, accompanied by Principle Investigator Beiwen Ying.

On July 1 2017, Professor Ye has given an inspiring exposition of his current research in automated remote therapy, which received wide acclamation from the audience. As an honored guest, at 9:00 A.M. on July 2 2017, Professor Yomo was invited to deliver a speech over the methodology in artificial cell synthesis with the titile of Experimental construction and evolution of an artificial cell model. Professor Yomo started his presentation based on his past researches published in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences(PNAS). His work has both established important theoretical basis and provided technique support for manufacturing bimolecular medicines encapsulated by liposome vesicles.

Professor Yomo introduced the controlled fusion and division of artificial cells aiming at inter-cell RNA transmission and replication. During the talk, he mentioned that the next research step shall be a series of bio-tests and CAD-analyses for vesicle-encapsulated DNA replication study. The prediction of artificial cell division should be an interesting topic to delve into.

Professor Yomo's excellent presentation was followed by ardent discussions between him and other researchers.
